Cattleya forbesii

Cattleya forbesii

from $50.00

x sib

Fragrant, bifoliate Cattleya species found in various parts of Brazil. Blooms are yellow to brown and hues thereof and somewhat waxy in substance.

Grown from seed. This crop is a sibling cross of the yellow form. While color variation is possible, all plants so far bloomed from the group have produced yellow flowers.

Plants Available: Growing in 4” pots. Examples of the size available are pictured. Orders will be filled with plants in sheath/bud/bloom as blooming season and blooming stock permit.

Orchid Care: Grow in bright, indirect light and high humidity. Plant must dry out between waterings, but will dry quickly in the hotter months of the summer, requiring more frequent irrigation. We recommend mounting plants in baskets or on driftwood or equivalent as they outgrow their pots.
