Mini-catt with round, Sophronitis-type blooms. Flowers tend to be predominantly red—some, with shades of orange or yellow at the base of the petals or in the throat.
Plants are grown from seed, so flower characteristics vary somewhat from plant to plant. Blooms from the multiple individuals are pictured to illustrate these variations.
Plants Available: Growing in 3” pots, blooming-size. Examples of the size available are pictured. Orders will be filled with plants in bud/bloom as blooming season and blooming stock permit.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright indirect light with strong air circulation and moderate humidity. Allow plants to dry out between waterings. Plants may be grown in pots or mounted. We grow this variety potted, using tree fern, sphagnum, or fine (seedling grade) orchid bark. Fertilize weakly, weekly.
