Grc. Black Comet 'Indigo Blue'

from $35.00

(Prosthechea cochleata × Grc. Miva Etoile Noire)

This purple clamshell orchid is predominantly Psh. cochleata—a green Prosthechea species native to Florida. Its lovely “indigo” purple shade comes from the Cattleya species Gurianthe bowringiana, a grandparent in the cross.

‘Indigo Blue’ mericlone.

Plants Available: Growing in 3” pots. An example of the 3” Pot option is pictured. This option is a blooming-size plant. The 3” Pot - Lg option is a larger plant, mature.

Orchid Care: Grow in bright, indirect light with strong air circulation and moderate to high humidity. Tree fern fiber makes for an excellent potting medium for this hybrid. Water generously when dry; allow roots to dry between waterings. Fertilize weakly, weekly.
