Multifloral strap-leaf Paphiopedilum hybrid from section Coryopedilum.

Grown from seed, so flower characteristics vary somewhat from plant to plant. Expect flowers to have dark striping against a lighter yellow-brown background. Younger plants tend to produce 3-5 blooms per inflorescence. Plants become more floriferous with age, blooming several flowers to a spike.

Plants Available: The plant pictured is an example of the 4” Pot size currently available.

Orchid Care: Grow in bright, filtered light and high humidity with strong air circulation. Plants should be kept moist, but never soggy. Media can be allowed to dry between watering in the cooler months. Water generously once spikes have initiated and plants are in bloom. Provide a cool period of 6-8 weeks (nighttime temps of 50F-60F) and a calcium supplement annually (e.g. at repotting) to encourage reblooming.
