Fragrant Aerides species that blooms in sprays of waxy, substantive pink and white flowers. Native to the Philippines.

Grown from seed, so flower characteristics vary somewhat from plant to plant. Examples from multiple individuals are pictured to illustrate this variation.

Plants Available: Available in two sizes. An example of each is pictured. Orders will be filled with plants in spike or bloom as blooming season and blooming stock permit; otherwise, mature plants that have bloomed previously.

Orchid Care: Grow in bright, indirect light with high humdity and strong air circulation. (Note: If you’re already a Vanda-fanatic, this species will require somewhat lower light than most other Vandaceous species.) Plants can be grown bare root in plastic baskets, established in wooden baskets, or mounted on driftwood. During the summer, daily watering is a must for plants like these grown without media. Water can be reduced somewhat during the cooler months, provided that plants are not dried hard between waterings. Fertilize weakly, weekly.
