Rare semi-alba variety of a classic bifoliate Cattleya species. A collector’s plant to be sure.

Plants Available: Established divisions from a large specimen of Cattleya amethystoglossa v. semi-alba, one of which is pictured here (large). Plants have recently been repotted in clay pots (June 2020) and will be available again once established. Care: Grow in bright light and high humidity. Plant must dry out between waterings, but will dry quickly in the hotter months of the summer. Daily watering may be necessary in the summer, depending on the potting medium used.

Note: Do not repot, mount, or divide plants before they have put out new growth and roots. Plants disturbed outside of their growing season often decline. The typical rest period for this plant is mid-November through early March.
