from $20.00

(Enc. Borincana × Encyclia bractescens [4N])

Plants Available:
Growing in 3” pots. Plants are blooming size. An example of the 3” Pot option is pictured.

Orchid Care: Grow bright and dry. Plants must dry out between waterings. Provide good air circulation to the roots. Plants can be grown variously in orchid pots, wooden baskets or mounted on driftwood.

Phal. Meidarland Tetra Blue
mericlone, fragrant, July, yellow, January, February
from $35.00

(Phalaenopsis tetraspis × Phal. Yaphon Oh Mygod)

Light yellow flowers with rusty red-orange blotches. Blooms sequentially. Fragrant.

Mericlone.

Plants Available: Growing in 4” pots. Plants are mature. The plants pictured are examples of the blooming-size. Orders will be filled with plants in spike/bud/bloom as blooming season and blooming stock permit.

Orchid Care: Grow in shady conditions with moderate to high humidity. Strong air circulation is key—plants may sulk or decline in stagnant conditions. May be grown potted or mounted. For potted plants, we recommend sphagnum moss or tree fern fiber as the medium.

This hybrid is 50% Phal. tetraspis. In nature, Phal. tetraspis grows epiphytically on mangroves near brackish water. Hobbyists may choose to mount this variety or cultivate in a wooden basket to mimic natural conditions of this parent species. Allow plants to dry out slightly between waterings. Water thoroughly (preferably in the morning) when the potting medium or root system is nearly dry.
