“Digby’s Beaked Laelia”

With its large frilly lip and silvery gray-green foliage, this species is easily recognizable. A linchpin in Cattleya hybridizing and must-have in any serious Cattleya collection. Extremely fragrant at night.

Grown from seed.

Plants Available: Growing in 4” and 6” pots. Plants in 4” are roughly 2 years from first bloom. An example of the 4” Pot option is pictured. Plants in 6” are mature. Examples of the 6” Pot - Lg and 6” Pot - XL options are pictured.

Orchid Care: Grow in bright, indirect light and high humidity with good air circulation. Plants will tolerate very high light but direct sun at midday should be avoided. Plants can be grown in pots or mounted. Water heavily while plants are actively growing, but allow plants to dry between waterings. Reduce water and fertilizer during the cooler months.
