Long, slender, pendent leaves with a flower to match. B. cucullata has a spidery bloom—creamy white and greenish petals and a fringed lip. “Weird and wonderful,” according to the American Orchid Society, which includes this species among its list of collector’s items. (Read the AOS blurb here.)

Flowers from summer into winter.

Plants offered are near blooming size. Available in a 2” pot or mounted on tree fern.
